NYC- Day 4

Day 4 of "DASH in the City" was nice because we really had no plans...
we just started wandering**....
I got to do what I wanted to do...
and D got to do what he wanted to do!
It was perfect!
We checked out Grand Central Station
and then headed to Brooklyn to see the Bridge, but just as we arrived it started pouring down rain so we spent the next two hours inside a Starbucks with some hot chocolate! (no coffee drinkers here!) It was nice to just sit, relax and watch the New York rain.
After the rain stopped we heading to Little Italy for a nice 'little lunch...that wasn't so little!
We walked a few more blocks
to China town.
Hey..look! I knew I would make some friends in NYC! Go Vikings!
After our tour of Italy & China we headed back up to Manhattan
and made a quick stop in Times Square
for some photo-ops!
Our last stop of the day was another Broadway Show. This time we saw Rock of Ages! It was so much fun and we both loved it. I would see it again and again and recommend it to anyone!
Stay tuned...day 5 was our last day in New York and probably our favorite of the whole trip! Here is a BIG clue for day 5....

**Don't forget: tonight on NBC is the 77th Annual Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony!

NYC- Day 3

Hope you aren't afraid of heights...
Because today we are going up 70 stories to the
Top of The Rock Observation Deck!
We could see all of Central Park from up here.
Empire State Building

Since my camera was in front of my face the whole time...
I just had to snap a few of this precious Kodak Moment!
It was so sweet, the little boy was so excited!

Next, we were off to meet Lady Liberty
We jumped on the Staten Island Ferry for a free ride...
The weather couldn't have been more perfect
for this nice little boat ride!
The weather was so nice
even the birds were enjoying it!

We finished our day at a nice little steakhouse on
restaurant row in the theater district.
Dinner was wonderful, the drinks were tasty and the company was great!
Get ready...tomorrow we are heading to Brooklyn!

NYC- Day 2

Ready for a fun day in the park?
Central Park that is...
The morning of Day 2 we woke up and decided to head up to Central Park. It was overcast with a slight chance of rain, so it seemed like a perfect day to stroll around the city and pop into a museum or two if the rain started!
The park was so pretty. Definitely one of the highlights for me on this trip. It was full of so much color...
and lots
and lots
of leaves!
And dogs too!

Next stop... a park bench! We hung out for a little bit and enjoyed the scenery. And check out D's new white shoes! Don't they just shine and sparkle?
They may sparkle, but not as much as this...
We made a pit-stop at a few shops on 5th Ave!
By this time we were pretty hungry so we stopped
at Trump Tower for a bite to eat.
Then we made it to St. Patrick's Catherdral ...
just in time for mass. It was an amazing church, so beautiful inside!
After mass, it started to rain, so we spent the next couple of hours at the
(Sorry no pictures at the museum)
After the museum, we headed back "home" to plan the rest of the evening.
We decided to go pick out tickets for a broadway show!
Look at all those cabs! It's kind of weird, I haven't seen a single one since we've been home!
We finished the day off at Radio City Music Hall. We got half-off tickets to see The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the lovely Rockettes! We had such a fun time!

Whew! Are you tired yet? Rest up...because Day 3 includes this!....
