Summer Nights

Don't you just love the late summer nights?

I love the fact that at 8:30pm the sky looks like this!

Cool Treat

Everyone loves a cool summer treat!

And this one is super easy!

All you need is 1 package of yellow cake mix,

1 can of manderin oranges (juice & all),

4 eggs, 1 cup of wesson oil.

Mix all the ingredients with mixer.

Grease & flour two 9 inch circle pans.

Pour cake mixture into pans.

Bake @ 350* for 25 to 30 minutes.

Let the cake cool.

Whip together 1 large carton of cool whip,

1 powder package of vanilla instant pudding,

1 large can of crushed pinapple (juice & all).

Ice cake & refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

And Ta-da!

You have a tasty, cool, summery treat!

Somewhere Near Water!

I have to admit, I'm a little sad this week.

Maybe you'll understand why after seeing these pictures!

Not only did my best friend get married this past weekend,
but we also spent four long days here...
South Padre Island, Texas!
We did some fishing...
and enjoyed the perfectly, hot Texas weather!
I also got to see my dream house on the water...

(Yes, Please & Thank you!)

It was a perfect weekend!

And I'm already ready to go back!
