Well...we went back for round 2 and tried our hand at another masterpiece!

The birds were pretty tricky...I think I may need some more practice! :)

But the class was a lot of fun!

And for some reason while painting this I had an old song playing in my head...

(it's a song by The Carpenters that my mom used to sing to me when I was a little girl)

Woke up yesterday to a nice little surprise in the neighborhood...

Sugar & Spice!

This past weekend we took a drive through the beautiful hill country to a sweet Texas town called Spicewood! And boy was it nice to get away from the big city! You'll understand why after seeing these pictures! Everything about this past weekend (minus the Aggies losing to Arkansas) was perfect!

Not only did we enjoy some amazing weather...

but we also watched as these two love birds tied the knot!

It was definitely a bright & cheery day on 10.10.10 in Texas!




The reception venue was so cute! I loved all the details...

Especially this "Snap Station"!

We of course had to have a little fun with it!

And we can't forget the sweets!
